- Event-driven design: per-service connector plugins → Kafka event bus → indexing
workers computing CLIP embeddings & pHash fingerprints → OpenSearch (full-text +
vector/kNN) as the central index
- SAML 2.0 / Active Directory login with group-to-role mapping enforced as ACLs at index
time and filtered again at query time by the API gateway
- Each connector plugin ships as an independent Kubernetes microservice with its own HPA,
so services scale independently under load
